How One Film - "1917" - Can Teach You To Be An Ambassador

See this content in the original post

The award winning movie 1917 is a fantastic template for understanding the Biblical call for Christians to be ambassadors for Christ. Spoiler alert: In the movie two WWI British soldiers are entrusted to carry a message across enemy territory that potentially will save 1,600 lives, including the brother of one of the two soldiers. Along the way they encounter much opposition but the thought of saving lives drives them to give their all in order to complete the mission. Amy Beange and Shafer Parker discuss the parallel urgency of the life-saving message of the gospel. The question is asked, what prevents Christians from acting with similar urgency to save their friends and loved ones, and ultimately, the world?
