Honorarium Policy 2022

Faith Beyond Belief (FBB) speakers have years of experience speaking on Christian worldview issues. The suggested speaking fees reflect the value of their experience, training, and education. We understand that different organizations have different financial means and we are open to negotiating on the suggested fees. As a donor-based non-profit, honorariums help us meet our basic operating costs.

For presentations given outside the city of Calgary, Lethbridge or Edmonton, the event organizers are expected to pay for travel to and from the venue, as well as provide accommodations if the speaker is required to stay overnight. We ask for $0.45 cents a KM. Speakers can be hosted at a private home provided they will have access to a private bedroom and bathroom, and the home is pet-free (animals that do not cause any allergic reactions are acceptable).

Suggested Honorariums

• Speaker experience = under 2 years

$200 for presentations under 2 hours

$400 for half-day presentations

$600 for full-day presentations

• Speaker experience = 2 to 4 years

$400 for presentations under 2 hours

$600 for half day presentations

$800 for full-day presentations

• Speaker experience = 6+ years

$600 for presentations under 2 hours

$800 for half-day presentations

$1000 for full-day presentations

Course pricing:

Faith Beyond Belief’s Worldview Course and Identity Project, costs $2500 when taught by a speaker with four or less years of experience, and $3000 when taught by a speaker with 6 or more years of experience. The course can be taught weekly (most common) or monthly, or even over a series of several weekends, depending on the needs of your group. The cost includes 20 manuals (additional manuals can be purchased at a cost of $10 each).
