June 2020 - Not Ashamed

In this month’s newsletter, Jojo Ruba discusses the recent Conversion Therapy Ban in Calgary. Conversion therapy is defined as an attempt to change someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity through counselling, or by any other means.  Jojo recounts his own experience of seeking out counselling for unwanted same sex attraction. The current by-law bans people from getting counselling for these unwanted feelings.
