Does Religion Poison Everything?

In this week's Everyday Conversations Podcast Shafer Parker interviews Scott Shay.  A banker, an author and an orthodox Jew, Scott Shay has recently published In Good Faith: Questioning Religion and Atheism. In his book Scott explicitly refutes atheism’s charge that religion poisons everything. Then he makes the case that the opposite is true, that the advances of civilization have been inspired by religion, most especially the faith of the Bible. Scott is not a Christian, but his core ideas are Biblical and provide much strength to Christians who want to be ready to explain their faith through everyday conversations.
